Staphylococcus Aureus Video Animation

Staphylococcus (sometimes called “staph”) is a group of bacteria that can cause disease due to direct infection or due to the production of toxins by the bacteria. Boils, impetigo, food poisoning, cellulitis, and toxic shock syndrome are all examples of diseases that can be caused by Staphylococcus. It can lay dormant in the body for years undetected. Once symptoms begin to show, the host is contagious for another two weeks and the overall illness lasts a few weeks. If untreated though, the disease can be deadly.

We at Elara are deeply enthusiastic about our work, and we think that our excitement is contagious. But in a good way. Enjoy this beautiful 3D animation of this gorgeous, but deadly bacteria.
