ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

With extensive expertise in Virtual Reality, 3D animation, and interactive solutions, we specialize in creating immersive experiences for training, education, marketing, and sales.

Who We Are Looking For

The Account Executive is responsible for growing Elara’s business portfolio by selling Elara’s products and services to both new clients and select accounts in the Elara client base.

To that end, the Account Executive is responsible for developing new client relationships, as well as nurturing and closing business opportunities within the existing Elara client base; in accordance with Elara’s defined sales process. Success will be measured by performance against quota in both dollar amounts and number of new projects added to the Elara portfolio on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The Account Executive position will require 30%-50% travel under normal (i.e., non-COVID-19) conditions.

Essential Functions
• Prospect into net new accounts to uncover, nurture and close Animation and XR opportunities
• Develop deep relationships with decision-makers and influencers within the assigned existing Elara client base uncover, nurture and close emerging Animation and XR opportunities
• Be accountable for exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas and performance metrics
• Follow the Elara defined sales and forecasting processes to accurately predict results and timing of projects
• When necessary, have the interpersonal skills to teach, tailor, and take control in the sales cycle (as described in The Challenger Sale)
• Be able to work independently in a dynamic, high-growth organization and contribute extraordinary results (a “self starter”)
• Invest the time and energy to learn about the Elara offerings so as to have credibility in the field and not place an undue burden on Elara support resources
• Work effectively within the Elara organization to orchestrate the necessary support for the sales efforts for each prospective client
• Be a strong presenter, proficient at conveying the unique attributes of Elara to prospective customers, and demonstrating how those attributes align with the client’s needs
• Prioritize the work and manage their time such that the most impactful opportunities receive the appropriate levels of attention
• Demonstrate exceptional listening skills and be able to structure and conduct relevant, productive, and comfortable interactions with prospective clients
• Provide feedback to the organization that represents the views of the prospective clients and market trends, success requirements, and competition
• Build strong relationships and work closely with the Elara Production and Leadership teams, enabling an atmosphere of cohesiveness and focused collaboration
• Be a team player and be coachable and open to feedback and differing points of view
• Keep internal systems (e.g., SFDC) up to date and accurate at all times to insure reliable forecasting and the retention of relevant prospect information and discovery results

Scope and Accountability
Conducts all efforts with accuracy, on schedule, with completeness. Maintains professionalism and the highest level of service at all times, even under stress. Professionally handle and protect sensitive intellectual property and company data. Contribute in a strong team environment. Make recommendations and take action; perform work under moderate level of supervision.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• A minimum of 5-7 years of sales and account management experience and demonstrated quota attainment in the medical animation, XR or related field
• A self-starter with the ability and motivation to identify what needs to be done to insure sales success —and then act on it
• Proven track record managing all aspects of a successful sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment to closure
• Fluency at communicating effectively with senior level executives—both internally and externally
• Deep knowledge of current sales methodologies and processes and their underlying logic, demonstrating an attitude of continuous learning
• Strong presentation skills—and the ability to explain complex topics in an easily understandable manner
• Proven Proficiency with SFDC, the google suite, presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Pages), Seamless.ai, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and similar sales and business-related software applications
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time in “normal” (e.g., non-COVID-19) situations
• Batchelor’s degree or above preferred
